Let’s Get To Know More About Joanna:
Where has been your favorite place you Traveled?
In my travels I’d say my favorite place to visit was the clouds in the sky while I was falling 14,000 feet through them (does that count??) lol
…if not, then definitely Colorado…the mountains and snow were simply breathtaking and I couldn’t get enough!
What is your favorite thing you like to explore or experience while your on assignment?
Anything that lends itself to homeschooling my kids
Where is your dream location…your bucket list place to take an assignment? Why?
My dream location would be anywhere that has waterfalls…big giant beautiful waterfalls because they make me feel close to God and I am better able to commune with Him.
His voice is that of rushing waters, and my voice is loud as heck in my head, so I find peace and tranquility when I’m near waterfalls and complete communion when I’m under them …feeling the weight of the water on my shoulders is a good replacement from feeling the weight of the world on them.
WHY did you decide to start traveling?
We decided to start traveling because we were simply led to it. I accepted the direction so easily because we love to experience new cultures, new scenery, new food. If you’re not in motion, by definition you’re standing still and life is too short for that…and I’m too vivacious lol
What is your #1 tip you’d share with a new traveler…who’s just getting started?
What would I share with myself??? Lol… DON’T OVER ANALYZE EVERYTHING! You’re gonna drive yourself mad trying to prepare for every angel you cannot yet even see.
What other passions or interests do you want to explore…while living the travel life?
I have always had an interest in acting because I have like 10 personalities lol (thank God my husband is able to keep up with them all)…so I figured while on the road, might as well pursue that lifelong passion of letting my mini- Joanna’s have a chance to shine lol

Let’s Talk About Travelers School!!!
What was your biggest take away from Travelers School…Biggest Win?
My biggest take away from Travelers School was that it’s not only ok to request more information; it’s probably in your best interest. Also that recruiters are not the enemy, they are not all going to be scheming to get as much from you as possible… but finding the right one for YOU can be a bit of a challenge. Biggest win I would say is meeting like-minded people who just want to leave the world a little better than they found it.
What was your favorite part about Travelers School…Why?
Why our hosts of course, they sound just as educated, intelligent, and totally as crazy as me and my husband! Totally relate to them!! #teamKimandErran
Who would you recommend Travelers School to?
I would recommend Travelers School to anyone who simply needs more information about the industry, but more specifically to anyone who has a type A personality and needs information for peace of mind. People who want to know as much as they can, about as much as they can, so they can do as much as they can. lol!!
In your opinion, why do you think Travelers should invest in Travelers School….what will they get out of it?
I think they should invest because it’s truly just an investment in themselves. If you want to be at your best in anything you do, your best bet is to be informed and educated. I believe Travelers School offers that in a profound and fun way that takes the edge away from the nerves and empowers travelers to know that there is a place for them in this industry and a way to make it happen, but it always starts with YOU.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I chose this picture, not only because it’s one of my favs, but because I believe it represents a travelers mindset. Also what Travelers School represents…although jumping may seem scary as shit, especially if you’ve never done it before, as long as you have someone who has jumped before, and is willing to strap themselves to your back, you’re going to be just fine.
So enjoy the ride, because I guarantee once you get to the bottom, you won’t regret it. You will remember the fall as the thrill of your lives! That’s how I see traveling, and you guys are our tandem 😉
Thank you for making Travelers School and jumping with us, xoxoxo
